Music: A-ha performs on home turf

As part of its world retirement tour, Ending on a High Note, the Norwegian band A-ha will visit Oslo and Ullevaal stadium on Saturday August 21. The concert kicks off the first-ever stadium tour for the band.


Princess starts school

Thursday is Norway's Princess Ingrid Alexandra's first day of school. She enters Jansløkka public school, not too far from her family home in the hamlet of Asker, west of the capital, Oslo.


The 24th Oslo Jazz Festival is on

After the traditional opening parade through Karl Johans Gate last Saturday, the Oslo Jazz Festival kicked off this week. Around 70,000 are expected to attend the festival, which ends Sunday.
